Developer built the "compas" app as an Ad Supported app. This app is provided by at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This privacy policy is used to inform you regarding policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use this Service.
1. Overview
The app uses advertising (and in app payments) to make revenue. The app uses third party libraries for advertising which may collect and share personal information with third parties.

2. Sharing Your Information
Metadata

Metadata is usually technical data that is associated with your location and language. For example, Metadata can describe what country are you from or what language are you using.
Location

Your location is required in order to calculate accurate prayer times. Prayer times are based on your actual location. Your location is also used to locate the direction to the compas.
In-app purchases / Billing

Using the Service is completely free. However, if you want to make a one-time donation, the Service needs to use your existing Apple ID / Google Play Store account in order to make a secure payment. Your validation will still be required at the time of such purchase and we can never access your billing information which remains secured by Apple / Google.
Other permissions

A few other system permissions are also required by the compas application in order to download files from the Internet, send you notifications, prevent your device from sleeping, make your device vibrate, determine the device's state (for example: whether it is ringing, off-hook, or idle) when alarm is being fired off, and run at startup to reschedule notifications should you restart your device.

3.1 AdMob
AdMob, is Google's mobile app advertising platform designed specifically for app

* unique device identifiers for advertising (Google Advertiser ID or IDFA, for example)

Retention:
Google anonymizes the log data by removing part of the IP address (after 9 months) and
cookie information (after 18 months)

Google Play Services offers APIs and security services to the Android developer ecosystem.
Google acts as a data controller for any personal data processed in Google Play Services,
and offers user notices and consents about the use of personal data in the service’s user
interface in Android.

Generally, the App and/or Service displays advertising provided by various third-party advertising platforms. compas has limited control over the advertising displayed and seeks User understanding in respect of display advertising which may be perceived to be unaligned with the content and purpose of the App, and in the event, any displayed advertising offends User. Offensive and sensitive ad categories like Gambling, Betting and Sexuality, are banned. In addition to, compas app does not accept responsibility of outcomes, of any ad impressions may be from those sensitive ad categories or any other categories.
